Dr Will Berry was raised in the Bathurst district and started university in Sydney before feeling the Charles Sturt University Veterinary Science degree was for him. When visiting Blayney for University student placement Will realised this district and this practice was where he could use his talents. What is mixed practice? Well for instance Will pregnancy tests cows, gelds horses, carries out caesareans in cows and dogs , does TPLO bone surgery and takes socks out of the intestine of labradors .Will always had a particular interest in surgery. He has been mentored by Howard Thompson since coming to Blayney as well as undertaking further training in Advanced Surgery. Rugby fanatic and water polo player and great Dad and occasional gardener. Will and Penny Ovenstone took over the ownership of Blayney Vets in 2021 to continue the personal “family” based business and to take it into the decades ahead.
