Mikaela grew up on a farm in the Canowindra district and animals have always been part of her life. Thinking they would be her hobby she set out for a career in the beauty industry. At the start of 2018 she changed direction and headed back to the study books, joining Blayney Vets as a TAFE trainee veterinary nurse. Blayney Vets enjoyed having her so much they wouldn’t let her go and once she had the Cert 4 certificate in her hand she stayed on as an integral veterinary nurse team member. You will catch her most of the time in the nursing area but she is a people person and will be in reception some days. Not content with the high adrenalin days at Blayney Vets , Mikaela is studying through Charles Sturt to gain her degree as a Paramedic.
